Dear parents,
Cultivating children’s interest in reading is beneficial to their future learning. In order to promote reading to our students, the kindergarten hopes that students will have the opportunity to increase their interest in reading in a variety of ways. Therefore, the kindergarten decided to join the “English Reading Day” hosted by the Hong Kong Adventist Academy. Our K3 students and their parents are invited to attend. This is also another opportunity that allows K3 parents to know more primary schools in Sai Kung district. Please find the activity details below:

Activity Rundown |
1. Arrive in the kindergarten for an assembly at 8:15am 2. The bus arranged by the kindergarten will leave at 8:30am, it’s considered as absent on the activity for those who are late, the bus will not be waiting for any reasons. 3. Activities Included： · A visit with a short presentation by an international Children’s author (Rachel Ip) · An author’s fair that introducing the following authors: Eric Carle、Mo Willems、Patricia Polacco、Suzanne Slade、Marcus Pfister. Parents who are interested could search for their information online · Storytime hosted by the principal of HKAA, Mr. Decker Jr Edward Thomas, in the school library · Recess on the playground with a bounce house set up · A book fair where children and their parents can purchase books that they like 4. Assembly at 12:00pm and take the bus arranged by the kindergarten and dismiss at the kindergarten (the usual school bus service will be suspended for those students who are participating in this activity). |

Remark |
1. The staff of the kindergarten will be accompanied, only one parent of each family is allowed to participate. 2. For students who are not participating in the activity, they should come to the kindergarten at 8:30 – 9:00am and be picked up at 12:00pm as usual, lesson at the kindergarten will be conducted as usual. 3. For students who are participating in the activity, both student and parent’s RAT result should be captured in a same picture and uploaded to parent app. While parents are entering the kindergarten, they need to meet the requirements of the “Vaccine Pass”, including scanning “Leave Home Safe”; if “red code” and a “yellow code” appeared, they will not be allowed to enter the kindergarten and participate in this activity. |
